Lead singer Little Anthony was noted for his high-pitched falsetto voice influenced by Jimmy Scott. In 1957, a doo-wop group known as The Chesters existed with members Clarence Collins, Tracy Lord, Nathaniel Rodgers, and Ronald Ross.
