The fifties painted itself as the innocent years, until rock n roll arrived. Why did these kids of the 1950?s fall in love with rock n? roll music? The music that only identifies with teens and many parents were worried about this music. The kids didn?t want to hear pretty music anymore like Doris Day ?Que Sera, Sera? it was now rock n? roll it was Chuck Berry?s ?Maybellene?. This would be the first generation of teens that didn?t listen to the same music as their parents. It wasn?t like the forties when parents and teens enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra. Rock n Roll music really begin in the forties, it was just a musical mixture of R& B, jump blues, Chicago blues, swing and country and western. This was what historians state now, but no one really claimed roll n? roll music until Bill Haley, Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry came on the music scene in the mid 50s.
